 We will be using this as a class blog for posting assignments, online class critiques, and general information for the course. Each of you will be creating your own blog portfolio of your artwork and thoughts throughout the semester. For your first assignment, we will be creating your own blog.  Your first post will be an introduction activity.

My Life

You've seen the American Express ad's before, now is your chance to 'express' yourself. In our introduction assignment you will literally introduce yourself. Here are three advertisements of Kate, Tina, and Ellen. The photographs were taken by Annie Leibovitz.
What props are they using? Do the images look candid or posed? How can you express who you are through one photographic image?

Homework:

You will need to have a self portrait photo ready for the next Monday.  I will demonstrate cropping, levels, and turning the image to black and white.  

Copy the following text and supply the answer in a different font in your  first post. We will post your first image by Wednesday 9/24 as an introduction to the class.
